This Application collects and processes certain types of data to provide its services. This document explains what information is collected, how it is used, and your rights regarding your data.

Types of Data Collected

Kad collects minimal data, strictly necessary to operate the Application and deliver its core features. The categories of data include:

Usage Data (e.g., app interactions, session duration, crash logs)
Device information (e.g., OS version, device model)
Analytics data (aggregated and anonymized)
In-app purchase status (managed via Apple App Store)
User-provided content sent voluntarily to AI processing providers (Apple Intelligence or OpenAI), only when features require it
Advertising-related data such as coarse device identifiers, IP region, and app interaction data collected through Google AdMob for displaying ads

No data collected by Kad is used to personally identify the User.

Methods of Processing

The Controller adopts appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or destruction of Data. Processing is carried out through digital tools strictly related to the purposes described in this document.

Legal Basis for Processing

Data is processed when one of the following applies:

The User has given consent.
Processing is necessary for providing the service.
Processing is required to comply with legal obligations.

Data Collected Through External Services

1. Firebase (Analytics & Debugging)

Kad uses Firebase services provided by Google LLC for:

App performance analytics
Crash detection and debugging
Aggregated usage statistics

Firebase data is anonymized and not linked to any personal identity.

Processed Data may include: session duration, app opens, device type, OS version, crash logs.

2. Google AdMob (Advertising)

Kad displays ads using Google AdMob, a mobile advertising platform provided by Google LLC.

To serve ads and limit repeated impressions, AdMob may collect:

Coarse device identifiers (e.g., IDFV)
Approximate location (region-level)
App interactions with ads
IP-based general location (not precise location)
Information used for frequency capping, fraud detection, and ad measurement

Kad does not provide AdMob with any personally identifying data.

Users in regions requiring consent (e.g., GDPR) will be shown the appropriate consent prompt where applicable.

3. Apple Intelligence (On-device or Apple Cloud)

If your device supports Apple Intelligence, certain data you provide may be processed on-device or by Apple's secure cloud systems to perform tasks requested within Kad. Apple determines the mode of processing according to your device settings and eligibility.

Kad does not control or retain the internal processing performed by Apple Intelligence.

4. OpenAI API

When the User interacts with AI-powered features, Kad may send the content the User provides (such as text inputs) to the OpenAI API solely to generate the requested output.

Kad does not send any data automatically.
Only User-initiated content is transmitted.
No background data collection takes place.

OpenAI processes this content to provide the requested result, following its own security measures.

5. Apple App Store Services

All purchases and subscription-related data are processed exclusively by Apple. Kad receives only non-identifying information such as purchase status or active subscription state.

6. Apple TestFlight (if used)

If you join beta testing, Apple TestFlight may collect diagnostic and crash information. Such data is handled according to Apple’s TestFlight policies.

Purpose of Data Processing

Data is collected for the following purposes:

Providing and improving the Application
Displaying non-personalized or contextual ads through AdMob
Running AI-driven features requested by the User
Ensuring app performance, stability, and debugging
Verifying in-app purchases
Complying with legal obligations

AI and Google API Transparency

Use of Google APIs

Kad complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including “Limited Use” restrictions.

Kad does not use any API data to train generalized AI or ML models.

Data is used only to provide the features strictly necessary for the Application to function.

Users’ Rights

Users may exercise the following rights:

Withdraw consent at any time
Access their data
Request deletion of data
Request correction or updates
Request processing restriction
Lodge a complaint with the relevant Data Protection Authority

Data Retention

Data is stored only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy. Aggregated analytics data may be stored longer in anonymous form.

Children’s Privacy

Kad is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to This Policy

The Data Controller may update this Privacy Policy at any time by posting the revised version on this page. Continued use of the Application after changes are posted implies acceptance of the revised Policy.
